Program Offerings and Class Structure

As a Square the Circle Co-op member, you will receive:

• A sense of community with other homeschoolers for mutual support, and encouragement
• Academic classes to supplement what is being taught at home
• Access to our calendar, website, directory and email messages from the group
• Opportunities to participate in the following activities (and similar):
  • Park Days
  • Discounted or free field trips
  • Holiday parties
  • Planned main events and gatherings (i.e. family picnics, Geography or Science Fairs etc)
  • Interest based small groups

Classes are offered for students ages 4 years old to 12th grade and will be arranged in groups by age. Age groupings will vary based on the number of students and teachers, as well as range of student ages. Nursery aged students can attend if an older sibling is enrolled.

Academic lessons are based on the “Unit Study” method of teaching. This allows the curriculum to be tailored to each age group while keeping the Co-op on a consistent theme for all classes.
